I drove from Plymouth, Ma. to Cleveland to witness the debacles of Tuesday and Weds. I stopped Mon. night in Rochester to watch Dave "out of" Gassner give up 4 homers to Buffalo in a 7-2 loss. The twins have stolen 30 bases in 34 attempts. I think this points out the importance of "doing the little things" well, and is clearly helping the Twins overcome their lack of power, starting pitching, and attentiveness as they defend their a.l. central title in a fashion best desribed as hapless.

After many years of reading and laughing, laughing and reading, I do have to respond to this:
