See, what happened CC overheard me (an Indians fan) talkin' about Morneau being a hottie the other day, and got jealous. He had to take Morneau out. I'm like "CC! It's okay! I'm not switching allegiances! He's just, you know. He's kind of hot! And a little crazy. In that hot way."
But CC, man. CC is fierce. He thought he had to put Justin in his place.
Sorry, Dr. Neau, but our tragic, doomed love is never to be, for your own protection. *sniff*
Posted by Ang at May 17, 2007 10:39 PMSo did Capt. Cheeseburger mess with Tiny Superhero's
mind Saturday to cause TSH to smack the good Doctor? :O
I wish Fatassia would have fielded a team during the world baseball classic.

Posted by MN Cub fan at May 18, 2007 12:31 AMSo, is Batgirl recommending the new Don Delillo?
(seriously, I want to know)
Posted by Dan in London at May 18, 2007 12:54 AMDear Mr. In London,
It will be some time before Baby Dash allows reading of such books.
Regretfully,
Batgirl
BG,
I'll do you a 100 word synopsis :-)
but it won't be long before baby dash is saying, no mom I don't want Bluey the Blue Cow again, I want Moby Dick, give me Moby Dick NOW!!!!!

Posted by CarrieICL at May 18, 2007 07:55 AMI'm thinkin' #1 is the most accurate. My guess is he was pissed that Bartlett made him field that bunt in the third. Big man doesn't like to move that fast (unless cheeseburgers are involved).
Posted by david at May 18, 2007 08:27 AMMaybe CC is still upset over the fall of Communism . . . or he could just be an a-hole.
Posted by Bring Back Reboulet at May 18, 2007 09:57 AM15. Envy of Justin's svelte build.
Posted by infield at May 18, 2007 10:01 AMKept hearing that Morneau was an M&M and wanted to get to the chocolate under the candy coating?
Posted by cal at May 18, 2007 10:50 AMI'll go with 1.
Posted by twin-X at May 18, 2007 11:08 AMReason #1 is funny enough, let alone the other 9. Good work.
Posted by Torhu at May 18, 2007 11:54 AMhaha, number 10 is the best
Posted by mrs. bartlett at May 18, 2007 12:20 PMDearest Cal -
LOL - that was fabulous!
Much Love

"yes, Baby Dash, all men live enveloped in whale-lines. All are born with halters round their necks; but it is only when caught in the swift, sudden turn of death, that mortals realize the silent, subtle, ever present perils of life."
Posted by msb at May 18, 2007 01:57 PMI drove from Plymouth, Ma. to Cleveland to witness the debacles of Tuesday and Weds. I stopped Mon. night in Rochester to watch Dave "out of" Gassner give up 4 homers to Buffalo in a 7-2 loss. The twins have stolen 30 bases in 34 attempts. I think this points out the importance of "doing the little things" well, and is clearly helping the Twins overcome their lack of power, starting pitching, and attentiveness as they defend their a.l. central title in a fashion best desribed as hapless.
Posted by al at May 18, 2007 02:25 PMAfter many years of reading and laughing, laughing and reading, I do have to respond to this:
NICE SASS!! It's things like this that keep me coming back for more=)

Funny...Number 1 is best...But 10 is pretty true...
I'm guessing 10, 3, and 1 are the most likely possibilities though they could all happen. ;)
Posted by Stacy at May 18, 2007 06:03 PMScott Baker might get the callup??? Oh dear, I hope he has improved.
Posted by Melissa at May 18, 2007 09:12 PMHey now, Scott Baker is good.
And remember...he's replacing Ponson.
Vic's been plunked 2x this year by Twinkie hurlers. Just a little payback.
How does The President like his demotion to County Commissioner? Fausto!
Posted by TribeFan at May 18, 2007 09:39 PMI for one can't believe Brad Radke's mom would call anyone a pussy. Well, maybe she might have mumbled something to that effect.

Piranhtachew.
Posted by Piranhtachew at May 19, 2007 12:58 AMI like the top reason. It's a good one.
Posted by TwinsPrincess at May 19, 2007 12:32 PMPiranhtachew:
Fausto's taken down Santana twice in one month.
Not a mandate, but more than one win.
Still, I remember him closing last year. Seems like the wheels could fall off at any time with him.
Good Luck!
